Coming to #BushwickOpenStudios @stickersocialclub presents our #Mobile art gallery on wheels!
We recently painted a truck for a half-blind Haitian man named Phillipe after meeting him at a Home Depot when we were buying materials for our recent LIC art show.
Phillipe has cataracts and cannot drive at night. He survives off the income he makes by moving things for people using his truck. We asked if we could paint the outside of the truck and tears came into his eyes. He became convinced we were sent to him as a gift from God.
As our next project we are turning his truck into a mobile art gallery which we will be driving to different locations during Bushwick Open Studios to raise money for him to fix his truck so he can continue to work and send money to his family in #Haiti.
