Come to the gallery, create some illegal art and if you hit the jackpot Jeremy Scott/Moschino might use your work on their clothing with no payment or no credit.
Just like they did to graffiti artist RIME, taking his street art and putting it on their clothes to make them look more interesting.
Scott/Moschino argue that if street art is illegal, it should have no artistic protection.
If Moschino win the upcoming court case, it will set a terrible precedent, affecting all street art.
Shame on you and your “appropriation” (“copying” if we did it to Moschino) of artist’s work Jeremy Scott/Moschino.

Scene Around NYC, Thurs Art Circuit Night: Sticker Social Club’s Drink ‘N Draw art sessions, this evening at the Clock Work Bar in the Lower East Side. (It’s been a long long time since my husband and I have been to a graffitied bar, like the decade of CBGB Punk, he mumbled.) The Social Sticker Club is active on Instagram, so follow if this is your thing.

I was curious after seeing their graffiti tree house by this friendly and casual street art group in the LoMan Festival earlier this summer. They were once a local NYC community org but now their drawing clubs have spread to other US cities. Popped by after the New Museum and a bite at Vanessa’s Dumplings. 🍜
