I was born and raised in Queens, New York City, now living in New Jersey but still dividing my time between both. When the doodling in school notebooks started taking up more pages than my notes, I realized it was more than just a hobby. The real adventures started in about 1989 at about 15 years old. Growing up right outside of New York City, I started jumping on the subway to skateboard, party, and wander through the city. The creativity, freedom, and culture kept me coming back and the city became like my second home for the next 15 years.
My early influences came from graffiti and art I saw on the street, skateboard art, cartoons, and comics. I took some formal art training and combined this with my self-taught art to create my own style.
I enjoy experimenting with different styles and mediums, never just settling on one in particular, always trying to broaden my horizons. This keeps me inspired and gives me a drive towards a different goal all the time.
I am glad my art can connect with someone in any way, whether it be spiritual, emotional, mental, or with humor.
Our daily lives are ever-changing second by second and I try to capture the different moods, emotions, and spiritual beliefs we are faced with.
I am happy to be a part of #StickerSocialClub because it brings together a lot of different artists and styles from all over the country to share their ideas and concepts and inspire each other with creative and unique projects

@miishab The Big Ice Cream Cone In the Sky. Acrylic and gouache on canvas. 48 x 36 miishab: Miishab is from Savannah, GA and Los Angeles. After attending the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she studied printmaking, Miishab moved to New York City where she started to experiment with street art and sticker art. With street art and sticker art she can share her art with passing strangers and brighten their day with psychedelic botanical illusions on rusted walls. Through this Miishab got involved with the “Sticker Social Club” NYC which has helped her find new mediums and canvases to work on and a beautiful community of talented artists to share work with. Miishab has been working on a series called the “botanical illusions” and is excited to continue this series of work. Miishabs art is largely influenced by the folk art and W.P.A. art she grew up around in her mothers gallery in GA. Her other influences include Ram Dass, Dali, Allen Ginsberg, Michael Banks, and Rudolph Bostic.

Im A Maker. Untitled. Acrylic on canvas. 48 x 36 I am a jittery artist (way too much consumption of coffee), with an indescribable love of art and music living in Brooklyn. My work is a collection of doodles, quirky illustrations, and handmade crafts. My vision is to create exciting art work everyday while working in a variety of mediums. I find inspiration in my surroundings from other art forms, going to concerts and random ideas that pop into my head. Another muse of mine is googly eyes, you might find me sticking some on the street or on someone (usually friends). I want to create every day for the rest of my life. It’s my passion and I can’t live without it. I will forever be a maker.
