JOS-L:
I was born and raised in Queens, New York City, now living in New Jersey but still dividing my time between both. When the doodling in school notebooks started taking up more pages than my notes, I realized it was more than just a hobby. The real adventures started in about 1989 at about 15 years old. Growing up right outside of New York City, I started jumping on the subway to skateboard, party, and wander through the city. The creativity, freedom, and culture kept me coming back and the city became like my second home for the next 15 years.
My early influences came from graffiti and art I saw on the street, skateboard art, cartoons, and comics. I took some formal art training and combined this with my self-taught art to create my own style.
I enjoy experimenting with different styles and mediums, never just settling on one in particular, always trying to broaden my horizons. This keeps me inspired and gives me a drive towards a different goal all the time.
I am glad my art can connect with someone in any way, whether it be spiritual, emotional, mental, or with humor.
Our daily lives are ever-changing second by second and I try to capture the different moods, emotions, and spiritual beliefs we are faced with.
I am happy to be a part of Sticker Social Club because it brings together a lot of different artists and styles from all over the country to share their ideas and concepts and inspire each other with creative and unique projects

About Sticker Social Club:Sticker Social Club is a drawing club and artist agency founded in 2012 by fellow artists who wanted to meet together and draw. Our artists come from a variety of backgrounds from fine art to street art. The club represents it’s artists for commissions, murals, and sales.
